Two heads are better than...

Siam - Silent Hill 5

Here is the (sort of) finished costume. We accidentally forgot Avianna's shorts for this costume back home, so she went without.

For anyone whom I haven't told about this costume, it is the character Siam from the new game, Silent Hill 5:

There are only two screen shots released and we did our best to mimic this new character.

Like most costumes, this one was finished the day before the con, so there are some areas I'd wish to improve, but hey, we won an award and I'm happy.

Yes, we each had an enormous strain on our backs, and I've gotten some scars from misplaced buckles. We are held together by a pair of special harnesses that I made. There's a clothe outer costume that goes on top of that, and the "meatbags" are actually made from poly-insulation foam.

I'll have more pictures of the individual parts later on.
